The Madrasah was built by order of Mubarizeddin Ertokus, one of Seljuk Empire’s Commanders in Atabey District in 1224. Its stone carved mihrap (a niche in a mosque indicates direction of Mecca) is very rare sample of Anatolian Seljuk Arts.
